Woah.

Woah. It's been ages since I last came here. Apologies. There were real-life events, like schoolwork and basically running around avoiding CERTAIN teachers. And not the History teacher. Anyway, here are some things that happened.

1) A certain stall in the canteen refuses to serve my class anymore after we lined up in a circle and bought 1 seaweed chicken AT A TIME. It was rather epic though, so I'm not gonna complain.

2) It is now the class tradition to sing "Happy Birthday" for birthdays. Okay. That's old news. What's new is HOW we sing it. We sing the English version, then the Chinese, then the Malay. Repeat ad infinitium. It started because we were in Lit, and we all know how much we adore the irony that the analysis is longer than the text itself. Then we remembered it was somebody's birthday. ECM (English Chinese Malay) later, somebody came back from the toilet and successfully restarted the class. The rest is history.

3) "Lulla Lulla Lullaby" is now a catchphrase. We were doing a scenario bullshit thingy about listening. So what do we do if a friend is whining to you? Apart from the usual laughing at him/her, what do we do? That's right, we quote randomly in an evil way. Popular choices include the "enamoured by an ass" quote from Oberon. But my "Lulla Lulla Lullaby" was voted as best, mainly because it is amusing to imagine someone singing Lulla Lulla Lullaby while the person in front is whining/bitching away.

Now, onto stuff unrelated to my life. I finally decided to work on HS V9. Only to realize that it's gone from Google Cache.

OH NOEZ

Nah. As it turns out, a good 30 minutes of hunting on the forums have netted me the scripts, complete with references (I still have to annodate it anyway). And the pics are still up, because I assume Hachette is kind enough.

Meanwhile, I'm ready to try posting the thread. First things first, I have to learn HTML programming, because we are given iFrames to the blog, so that we can embed pics, videos etc better. Images, I know. Vids, I know. Increasing font size to x, I don't know.

Ah, screw that. That's what Google is for anyway.

Moving on, the fourth root of (9^2 + 19^2/22) is π. Okay, not really. What happened was that my History teacher is a budding programmer. Made a calculator program, and wanted to test it. Naturally, I was the first choice to get a test from. I said that e^π-π was a good choice as it always gives 20. Otherwise, there's a problem with the algorithm.

But the program doesn't have π stored in it!

No problem. Can it solve 4th roots?

Yes. That's the most it can do.

Good enough. The 4th root of (9^2 + 19^2/22) is pi. Again, if it doesn't work, something's wrong.

And, that's why I've gotta stay away from my History teacher lest I'm forced to find the issue after I gave him such tests.

Lots of things are happening. As I've noted in this blog (I think), I've always wanted to go over to NUS High. And now, I'm told that I can go over. The thing is, this is the worst time to ask. I've finally warmed up with my classmates, and I'm rising. Okay, the fact that I've been moved near someone popular, and I can intrude in without looking like a complete retard helps a lot.

Let me repeat myself. Worst possible time to ask.

I'm starting to like this place a lot.

Meanwhile,

Okay, let's get this straight. I'm staying away from my History teacher. I'm actively avoiding OTHER teachers. It's slightly different. Emphasis on slightly.

Should I keep going?

Voice A: Hell yeah.

Alright.

I won't.

Mabel, the Pungeon Master.

I dare you to go Off The Rails on any forum RPG I'm running, boys. I'd play along, though don't be too angry if I screw up your efforts using Chekov's Guns, Retired Badasses and Monty Hauls.
